In Keeping with our philosophy, we’ve introduced a little side project that we call The Legal Layman. The point of this site is to address common problems or questions that may not justify hiring an attorney. Either the dollar amount of the dispute is too small to justify incurring attorney expenses, or the process is straightforward enough that individuals may be able to handle the matter for themselves.
We try to cover some basic Real Estate issues, questions involving small cases (whether criminal or civil), and to respond to questions as they are presented.
Also, since we don’t offer legal services through that site, we tend to be a little more conversational and practical in our advice.
